Newark A.B.C. Solutions assists businesses in obtaining, purchasing, and renewing licenses related to the consumption and distribution of alcoholic beverages. A.B.C Solutions counsels clients on proper maintenance and best practices to avoid regulatory fines, penalties, and other interruptions to standard business operations. In addition to assistance with online applications, A.B.C. Solutions aids the completion of Social Affairs and Catering Permits for religious, education, and nonprofit organizations.

In addition to assisting clients with proper management of their alcohol licensing, Newark A.B.C. Solutions provides a wide array of document and license management services outside the scope of alcohol distribution. These services include:

  • Requesting and renewing required inspections and documentation by the State of New Jersey for the proper operations of your specific business.
  • Coordinating and expediting the renewal of fire inspection certificates, health certificates, trade waste licenses, and other required business licenses.
  • Advise on best practices to operate and maintain an efficient business, focusing on how best to avoid regulatory fines and penalties that cause disruptive business interruptions.

Owner

Formerly the Executive Secretary of the Newark Alcoholic Beverage Control from 2014-2018, Mr. Holmes initiated the New Jersey State Alcoholic Beverage Control (A.B.C.) online application, overseeing countless A.B.C. renewals, transfers, and corporate structure changes. Mr. Holmes simultaneously served as a Newark Police Lieutenant, leading the Newark City Wide Night Time Task Force, conducting inspections on all mercantile businesses in the City of Newark ensuring compliance with State laws and municipal ordinances. Mr. Holmes retired from the Newark Police Department as a Lieutenant in March 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice.

ABC is modernizing and right-sizing the department through a multi-year plan to provide a higher level of service to its stakeholders.

Prior to services rendered, Newark A.B.C. Solutions requires an initial $150 consultation fee. Additional costs will be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation meeting.
